    We know that many of those from whom we import oil are not our friends, so we should be able to have our own resources developed for our own energy, and one of those is nuclear power. It’s clean, it’s reliable and it’s abundant.

    I think we have to everything we can to encourage people to conserve energy. Bicycling is also great for health, so I hope more people will bicycle, run, walk, whatever.

    As we deal with global warming and we deal with pollution, the idea of giving people options other than the automobile is very very good. I know in Vermont we are building a whole lot of bike paths. I strongly support bike transportation.
