PUNDIT PRODUCTIONS INC
Pundit Productions, Inc. is a non-profit multimedia organization dedicated to producing innovative and interactive broadcast news and information content of the highest caliber, custom-crafted for specific subscribers – whether local public radio stations, international broadcasters, foundations, Beltway insiders, interest groups, or individuals.
Pundit derives its name from founder Melinda Wittstock’s amiable but opinionated golden retriever – who likes nothing better than a romp through the fountain at the base of the Capitol’s West Front steps, or a hotdog from a tourist. He also likes kissing babies – and getting his photograph taken.
What better than a blonde pundit that doesn’t bark?

Raising the level of discourse and debate
Pundit is dedicated to empowering citizens to hold their elected representatives accountable with interactive platforms that foster two-way communication. Capitol News Connection and web sites and widgets like ‘Ask Your Lawmaker’ are a bridge between the Beltway and the Heartland: a means for citizens to question and connect with lawmakers about the issues that matter most to them at home. Established in 2002 as a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization incorporated in Delaware and operating in Washington D.C., Pundit Productions owns and operates Capitol News Connection and Ask Your Lawmaker. CNC brings new relevance, accountability and transparency to the political process and empowers Americans to become active and effective participants in our democracy. CNC ensures Americans have access to locally relevant, trustworthy and unbiased information and an efficient means to interact with their elected representatives. Pundit’s 2007 operating budget is approximately $1.4 million. Capitol News Connection is funded by public radio stations and other subscribers, individual donors, and grants from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, the Carnegie Corporation of New York, the Park Foundation, the Sunlight Foundation, and the Ethics and Excellence in Journalism Foundation.
